| Melanie Keveles, MA, CPCC is a Certified Professional
Co-Active Coach and Certified Best Year Yet® Coach. Prior
to starting her coaching practice in 1998, Melanie has been
a career and outplacement consultant, trainer and writer for
more than 20 years. She has achieved many of her life-long
dreams including living in Europe nearly five years, running
her own business, co-authoring a book (Fired For Success:
Turning Losing Your Job into the Opportunity of a Lifetime!)
and having her own radio show.
Melanie has appeared as a guest on The Sally Jessey Raphael
Show (when she had her show in St. Louis and focused
on less racy topics), ), New Dimensions Radio New
Dimensions Radio, Conversations with Jean Feraca
Conversations with Jean
Feraca and numerous other radio and television programs
in the Midwest. Her work has also been cited in Teamworks!
by Barbara Sher and Annie Gottlieb, McCall's Magazine,
and also on the front page of The New York Times
(what her husband, who hales from the Bronx, NY likes to call
his "hometown newspaper").
Melanie specializes in coaching clients worldwide who want
to optimize their career satisfaction, pursue entrepreneurial
ventures, reinvent themselves and have their Best Year Yet®.
An avowed "renaissance soul," Melanie has been challenged
by having too many creative interests and pursuing an abundance
of life long learning. She sensitively helps others with this
tendency focus and experience satisfaction.
Melanie weaves her backround and training throughout her
work, designing a unique course of action with each client.
With her outplacement background and stints creating content
for Internet and corporate Intranet sites such as Alta Vista
Careers and the Talent Alliance, she has been exposed to a
wide range of careers and work environments.
In addition to her grounding in coach training, leadership
training and certification through The
Coaches Training Institute, (CTI) Melanie has been through
training with Byron Katie
and uses her "Work" when appropriate with clients
challenged by limited beliefs and with difficult relationships.
Melanie is on the faculty of CTI as a Certification Pod Leader
and a Business Development Program Leader. She collaborates
with Coaching Toys founder,
Marcy Nelson-Garrison on the Quick Apprenticeship Series
for New Product Entrepreneurs©.
